Supicious activity in Phoenix, AZ
Supicious activity in Phoenix, AZ
An avid reader who we'll refer to simply as "Judy" has reported some very disburbing activity in Phoenix, Arizona. It actually reads more like the start of a horror story than a real-world zombie report. While ZombieMeter analysts have been unable to corroborate these accounts, we decided that the safest measure was to report this as is and it speak for itself.

Phoenix is well known as a source of UFO reports. The so-called "Phoenix Lights" phenomena even have their own Wikipedia page. Having never been to Phoenix myself, I am unfamiliar with this activity, but Judy has observed disturbing activity during these periods. She suspects that these activities may be related to zombie activity. It is well documented that zombie attacks are related to astrological events, as documented in Night of the Living Dead. With that in mind, ZombieMeter analysts believe that this story may have some merit.

One night, Judy was outdoors, waiting to meet an unnamed friend. It was a quiet, calm night. Looking over the city, she should see these familiar lights hanging over Phoenix. She described them as aircraft observing the city, taking pictures, or even dropping something, the same way a news helicopter hovers over critical areas. She stresses, however, that these are unlike any aircraft she has ever seen. Their speed and apparent course give additional credence to her description. At times when these fly past her, she describes them as being perfectly silent, and as leaving strange taste in the air like "burning tin", almost as if the air became electrified.

That night, after Judy's friend showed up, the two of them approached one of the areas that the lights seemed to focus on. Careful not to be seen, they observed a man walking down the street, alone. He walked slowly, almost shambling, and had dark marks around his mouth that may have been blood. He glanced toward them several times, as if he could sense their presence, but fortunately they had chosen a safe vantage point. Eventually, the "man" turned his back and started to leave the scene. Judy and her friend did the same, but just as they turned a corner, they heard the familiar ring of a 9mm firing. There were 12 shots total, then dead silence. Judy and her friend ran back to the scene, but found no sign of the man or the shooter.

They watched the news that night, hoping to find more information, but no shooting was reported. Calling hospitals in the area proved pointless, as well; there were no reports of shooting victims being admitted.

The next night, Judy observed the same aircraft, again hovering over certain areas. This time, however, one of them hovered right over her home! Frightened, thinking they'd seen her, she called her friend over. Her friend brought a shotgun, just in case. The two of them stayed in Judy's yard, and listened carefully. Suddenly, around the corner from her house, they saw a man. He had a dark face, blood-red eyes, and was wearing all black. They looked at each other in disbelief, then look back toward the man, but he was gone as suddenly as he appeared. They would have thought it a trick of the mind if they hadn't both seen him.

The rest of the night was uneventful, other than the sounds of people walking on the gravel outside the yard. Fortunately for Judy, they were too afraid to check who or what was walking around outside their fence.

Before Judy went to bed that night, she emailed ZombieMeter the story, and asked that we publish it as a warning to people in Arizona. I naturally debated this request -- we don't normally take this type of story. But due to the compelling nature, I felt it had to be published. If we can save one person, we've done our job.

Until next time, stay informed... stay alive.
